Reactions as Nigerian lady goes on sabbatical leave for Peter Obi
Ifeanyi Akorjuru, a Nigerian lady has caused a stir after disclosing that she took a one year sabbatical leave to focus on the former Anambra state governor and 2023 presidential aspirant, Peter Obi’s campaign.
National Daily reports that the former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, on Monday officially became the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
She wrote; “We cannot put all our eggs in one basket, all of us cannot belong to one group, however, let our target and aim be the same. Guys, my one year sabbatical leave from work was approved today by my employers. That will enable me remain focus on Peter Obi Presidential campaign.”
Young Nigerians on social media have commended her actions, as they urged more people to get involved in campaign and politics ahead of 2023 general elections.
