Robber kills gang member after killing robbery victim
A three-man armed robbery gang was thrown into confusion as one of the robbers shot a member of the gang to death after the killing of their robbery victim in Benue State, North Central Nigeria. The robbers had shot dead a businessman, Onche Jonah, known as Salco in Naka, the headquarters of Gwer West Local Government Area, Benue State.
The gang member shot to death by the gang members was identified as Terna Yough, known as Codino. Yough was said to be arrested several times while wearing military camouflage during robbery operations with two others on Naka-Ankpa Road in 2021, and was released later.

The three-man gang had invaded the residence of the deceased victim at about 2.00am on Sunday, jumping through the fence, shooting sporadically in the robbery operations.
Residents of the community on arrival at the robbery scene after the robbers had escaped, were said to find the dead body of the businessman, Jonah, in his room. They also found the dead body of one of the robbers, Yough.
The shot robber, Terna Yough, was said to be identified as pastor’s son, who had earlier collected money from the businessman, yet shot and killed him in the robbery operations.
