Ronaldo on his injury: I am not worried
Juventus, injury to Cristiano Ronaldo with Portugal: “I’m not worried”
Anxiety for Juventus: Cristiano Ronaldo accused a problem during Portugal-Serbia and left the field touching his right thigh.
The Portuguese was chasing a ball on the wing when he raised his arm and immediately asked for the change, before receiving relief from the medical staff of Portugal.
The doctors insistently massaged his right thigh, the one that seemed to be injured. This is probably a muscular problem.
The match of the bianconero number 7 was thus interrupted after 31 minutes, in which he had even touched the goal twice without finding it. At the exit from the field it did not seem painful, but the problem will have to be assessed.
In the mixed zone, at the end of the race, Cristiano Ronaldo tried anyway to reassure all his fans:
“I am not worried. I know my body perfectly and for this reason I am calm. In a week or two I will be ready to play again without problems. It is soccer, it can happen …”.
Tomorrow, Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Turin and the problem will be assessed in detail by the Juventus medical staff. According to ‘Sky Sport’ it would be a flexor problem.
The fear of Juventus is above all in the Champions League: on 10 April the first quarter final match against Ajax is scheduled. The return is scheduled 6 days later.
The injury also occurred in the eyes of the Juventus sports director Fabio Paratici, present at the Estadio Da Luz to follow the match. All that remains is to trust the evaluation of Cristiano Ronaldo pending the official response.
