Sports Minister moves office to M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abuja
The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has moved his office to the M.K.O Abiola stadium, in Abuja,National Daily learnt.
The move comes in line with the Minister’s agenda to ensure that the nation’s sports facilities are restored to their original states and become fully functional.
With this move, the Minister has made good on his earlier remarks where he has said “a worker ought to be in the mix of happenings in order to function effectively”. It is also a sharp departure from what has been the regarded as the norm in the past.
The workaholic Minister who has been working round the clock since assuming office, traversing the country to ascertain the statuses of Nigeria’s stadiums, worked today from his new office at the Abuja stadium.
This is an indication of the positive things to come to the sports sector in Nigeria.
