Sri Lanka Police arrest six Bangladeshi nationals for visa violations

Sri Lanka police announced on Wednesday that six Bangladeshi nationals were arrested in the Western Province on Tuesday evening for violating visa conditions.
The arrests occurred at a residence in Seeduwa, located near Bandaranaike International Airport.
The detained individuals, aged between 18 and 43, are currently under investigation, according to police reports.

Sri Lanka Cabinet spokesperson Vijitha Herath stated on Tuesday that the government is actively taking measures against foreigners who overstay their visas or engage in activities that breach visa regulations.
