Three persons rescued as container fälls on a car from Ojuelegba bridge
Three persons escaped death as a 40-feet container fell from the Ojuelegba Bridge on a Toyota Corolla car inward Stadium on Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere, Lagos, on Sunday.
In a press statement by the director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Adebayo Taofiq, he said the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and other emergency responders rescued the occupants of the vehicle.
According to him, out of the three occupants of the trapped vehicle, only one person came out unhurt and was allowed to go home immediately while the remaining two sustained injuries.
He said, “Traffic Officer Olajide Olukoga ‘Bravo’ who led the LASTMA rescue operations at the scene of the acc#dent confirmed that a 40ft container fell on top of a Toyota Corolla car (JJJ 811 FB) at the top Ojuelegba bridge inwards Stadium.
