Tinubu, Shettima, Adamu ‘omitted’ Amaechi, visit Wike after presidential campaign in Port Harcourt
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; his running mate, Kashim Shettima, the APC national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, on Wednesday omitted former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, while visiting Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State at the Government House, Port Harcourt. Tinubu, Shettima, Adamu, including Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Babjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, had visited Governor Wike after the APC presidential campaign in Rivers State.
Other APC stakeholders in the delegation include former governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva; beside others.
The former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, the APC governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole, were both not part of the delegation that met with Governor Wike at the Government House.
However, it could not be ascertained whether the APC leaders excluded Amaechi and Cole or they willingly declined to be part of the visiting team.
