Update: Actor Moses Armstrong charged with rape and supplying abortion drugs
Embattled Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong, has been charged with rape, intimidation, conspiracy and supplying of drugs or instruments to procure abortion.
The Akwa Ibom State Government filed the charges against him on Wednesday, August 10, at a State High Court sitting in Uyo, Premium Times reports.
The former aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel was arrested on June 13 for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl girl he adopted and has been leaving with him and his family.
According to the report, Mr Armstrong pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him, and Judge Ntong Ntong granted him bail in the sum of N5 million.
