Wife bathes husband in acid, flees

Becky Odion and her husband of six years have been fighting and making up for years until yesterday when she bathed him in acid at their apartment on Idemudia Street, Omomon Rd, Benin City.

Odion is fighting for life now, and his wife is on the fly.

The police had earlier intervened when she brought to its notice one of the previous incidents, according to the Standard Gazette which first reported the incident.

Family members too have helped settle some of the quarrels, and were reportedly making moves to intervene in the last crisis.

Becky, 29, however had to do it her own way.

The cause of the near-fatal incident has not been identified.
