I have no presidential ambition – Akpabio
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, at the public hearing of the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC investigation of financial malfeasance in the commission, said that he has no presidential ambition. Akpabio in his preliminary statements said that forces are gathered against him in the notion that he has presidential ambition.
He said that he is in NDDC to provide development to the Niger Delta as he did when he was Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
He commended the nine governors of the Niger Delta States who in collaboration with President Muhammadu Buhari directed forensic audit of the NDDC. The Minister also commended President Buhari for the directive.
