Army set to improve officers tactical skills

The 3 Division Army Headquarters, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Rukuba Barracks in Jos is set to conduct operations Planning Cadre aimed at improving the skills and techniques of staff officers.
This was contain in a statement signed by the Deputy Director 3 div spokes person, Colonel K.O Ogunsanya and made available to our correspondent.
The statement implies that, in compliance with the Army Headquarters directive due to its participation in counter terrorism-counter insurgency operations, joints and multinational operations, starting from 6-10 June 2016, officers of 3div will undergo training aimed at refreshing and retraining staff officers in the Division’s Headquarters formations and units.
It also stipulates that “the objective is to achieve through syndicate consideration of topical issues and lectures to be delivered by carefully selected resource persons during the cadre”.
The communique also notify that, an audience of 150 participants drawn from the military, paramilitary organizations and human rights commissions as well as other security agencies within the Division area of responsibility are expected to attend.
