The FIFA President, Gianni Infantino was in Nigeria yesterday, he came to witness the opening football match of the Aisha Buhari Female Football Tournament in Lagos.

Gianni was able to meet with the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, the FIFA President gave President Buhari a Blue Jersey with his name boldly written on it.

Gianni Infantino gladly honoured the invitation that was sent to him by her Excellency, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the first lady of Nigeria. Aisha was the chief host of the tournament, she was very happy to receive the FIFA President and his Companion in Lagos.

Aisha Buhari organized the tournament in order to bring peace and unity between the African countries. The countries participating are Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, Morocco and South Africa’s ‘A’ Women teams.

Aisha Muhammadu Buhari shows her sincere gratitude to FIFA and also to the countries that are ready to participate in her tournament
