Biafra: “IPOB no longer takes order from Kanu”
IPOB will no longer take orders from its leader Nnamdi Kanu in DSS detention as he faces trial in an Abuja high court.
Simon Ekpa, a controversial member of the secessionist group said it Tuesday.
That, he noted, will not stop the push for noted that for Kanu’s unconditional release.
“We have entered the liberation phase of Biafra Nation & we are not taking orders from our leader who is incarcerated,” he twitted.
“Our duty is to do everything to secure his unconditional release and to restore and liberate Biafra from Nigeria. Our freedom from Nigeria is non-negotiable.
“Those who do not understand this message, what it simply means is that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not be held responsible for the actions of Biafra people as we have entered the liberation.
So, the order of the liberation of Biafra and to secure his release cannot be used against him.”
Ekpa, a Finnish-Nigerian and discredited member of IPOB’s leadership, has been making his own statements and inciting agitation the group doesn’t approve.
