Ukrainian President, Zelensky lists priorities in peace talks with Russia
Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky has listed six priorities it aims to achieve in ongoing peace talks with Russia, with an end to the war at the top of them.
According to the presidential press service, Zelensky said this while addressing the nation on Thursday.
He said, “My priorities in the negotiations are absolutely clear: the end of the war, security guarantees, sovereignty, restoration of territorial integrity, real guarantees for our country, real protection for our country.
“The negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are continuing.”
Recall that Ukrainian and Russian delegations started their fourth round of negotiations on Monday via video link.
The Ukrainian Presidential Advisor, Mykhailo Podolyak, on Wednesday said that Zelensky might hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming days.
Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that a meeting between Putin and Zelensky was possible.
