Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly reportedly landed In Barcelona amid transfer negotiations (Video)
A video showing the moment Chelsea co-owner landed In Barcelona has gone viral on social media. Todd Boehly has been the one leading the Chelsea’s transfer discussion since Former Technical director Marina Granovskaia left the club.
Todd Boehly consortium comprising of Jonathan Walters, Clearlake Capital, Hansjorg Wyss and others bought Chelsea in May. Since taking over one of the biggest club in England, Todd Boehly has been working tirelessly to put things in order at the club.
He was reportedly said to have met Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes in Portugal where they discussed transfer deals and has been also negotiating all Chelsea deals.
He jetted out to Barcelona today probably to discuss transfer deals or in an entirely different occasions.
Chelsea has been in discussion with Barcelona over the transfers of Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azipilicueta. The Catalonia club wants to sign the Chelsea’s duo, Cesar Azipilicueta and Marcos Alonso having already signed Andreas Christensen on free transfer.
Also Chelsea are reportedly interested in dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong and the blues are tipped to hijack the deal from Manchester United.
It’s unsure what Todd Boehly’s trip to Barcelona means but hopefully it leads to positive news for Chelsea football club.
