Arsenal displace Man City on top League table, crush Nottingham Forest 5-0
Arsenal on Sunday showed their class in the current English Premeir League season, displacing Manchester City from the top of the League table after beating Nottingham Forest 5-0. Arsenal now have two points ahead Manchester City on the league table.
Bukayo Saka had sent a through pass to Gabriel Martinelli to score the first goal in the fifth minute of the first half. Saka was replaced with Reiss Nelson after sustaining ankle injury, who made his first appearance in the current Premier League season, and turned to be a star of the match.
Nelson scored in the early period of the second half to increase the winning tally for Arsenal. He scored again three minutes later to consolidate the victory of his team. Nelson subsequently, set up Thomas Partey for the fourth goal of the game.
Martin Odegaard made it five 13 minutes from the end of the second half.
