Wike mobilises for protest vote in Rivers against Atiku
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State at the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) campaign in Ahoada West Local Government Area, mobilise protest votes against the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 203 general elections. Wike insisted that the people of Rivers State should only vote for the PDP governorship candidate, National and State Assembly candidates as the only candidates the people should in the February and March elections.
Governor Wike had declared: “You had a major flooding problem. Did anybody at the national secretariat of our party visit you? But they went to the other states. We will love who loves us, and hate who who hates us.
“We will use our power to pepper them.
“The only people you are voting for are the governorship, the senatorial, the House of Representatives and the House of Assembly candidates.”
The governor deliberately excluded Atiku, the only candidate national secretariat, from the candidates the PDP members and supporters should vote for in the state.
