APC leader cautions youths against reckless celebration of election results
An All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Hassan Liman, in a media interaction on Sunday in Lafia, Nasarawa State, appealed to youths and other supporters of APC to exercise patience and avoid reckless celebration. while awaiting results of the party’s performance in the presidential and national assembly elections.
Liman, while cautioning APC supporters, particularly, the youth, anticipating the victory of their candidates, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, noted that if only the registered voters cast their votes, using the BVAS, the outcome will not pose any difficulties, as it will eliminate issue of ghost voters.
“This election is a plus for democracy in Nigeria, for the people, for INEC and for the Federal Government of Nigeria,” he said.
Liman, the Director Legal, APC, Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Abuja, said in his capacity as the Director Legal at APC-PCC, he is hopeful that his party would come out triumphantly in the presidential and other elections.
He said he was hopeful and confidence in the victory for Sen. Bola Tinubu and other candidates of APC across the country.
“The campaign we conducted with my presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, across the country, and the credibility of both, I believe that we are going to win the election,” he said.
