Police arrest 2 suspected armed robbers in Lagos
Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad have arrested two persons for allegedly snatching a lady’s phone and handbag in Lagos.
The suspects are Praise Ebube ‘m’ aged 25, a phone accessories seller in Obalende, Lagos, and Ogbonna Michael ‘m’ aged 21, a factory worker at Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos.
This was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Command in a tweet shared via its X handle on Wednesday.
The suspects were seen by some residents who alerted the police.
The state Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, has directed the Commander, Rapid Response Squad, Olayinka Egbeyemi, to arraign the suspects at the conclusion of investigations.
