Police arrest man for killing his mother
A 32-year-old man, Samuel Shegun, has been arrested over the alleged killing of his biological mother.
According to a press briefing by the State commissioner of police, CP. AT Abdullahi, the police discovered a lifeless body of a 47-year-old woman, Esther Adekanla, popularly known as Hadiza Nakowa in her house at Dutse town.
He said following the investigation, detectives from State Criminal Investigation Department, Dutse, arrested the suspect of opposite Awajil filling Station Dutse, in connection with the case.
CP Abdullahi noted that the suspect was arrested via tracking of the deceased phone number, which linked him to the offence.
