EPL Final Day: Super Computer predicts title winners ahead Man City, Arsenal games
Opta has made Manchester City big favourites to retain the Premier League title, ahead of the final day fixtures on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s men are top of the table ahead of their clash against West Ham at the Etihad.
Manchester City have a whopping 84 percent chance of winning the Premier League title after their 2-0 win against Tottenham, according to a supercomputer.
City leapfrogged Arsenal to move top of the table with just one game left to play after their pulsating victory on Tuesday, courtesy of two goals from Erling Haaland.
Pep Guardiola’s side survived a number of nervy moments in a tight showdown in North London, substitute goalkeeper Stefan Ortega delivering a heroic second-half cameo to leave City standing on the brink of yet another league triumph.

Haaland broke the deadlock after tapping home Kevin De Bruyne’s cross six minutes after half-time before Spurs ramped up the pressure to set up a tense finish.
Ederson had been forced off after a heavy collision and his replacement crucially denied Son Heung-min one-on-one and Dejan Kulusevski twice, with Haaland then wrapping up the three points from the penalty spot in stoppage time.
Ahead of the final day of the season, City are two points ahead of Arsenal and look on course to become the first club to win four successive Premier League titles.
The revised title chances have City at 84 per cent and as near certainties to lift the trophy once again at the weekend – with rivals Arsenal now at just 16 per cent.
Had City lost, Arsenal’s chances of lifting the trophy instead – their first league title since 2004 – were estimated at 81 per cent with City on only 19 per cent.
Even a City draw would likely have handed Arsenal the title. In that scenario, Mikel Arteta’s side were 75 per cent favourites to end City’s dominance over the top-flight.
