Arsenal F.C. have become the first club in the English Premier League to score 100 goals in all competitions this season, following their 2–1 victory over Mansfield Town F.C. in the FA Cup on Saturday.
According to football statistics platform Opta Sports, the achievement places the North London side among the most prolific attacking teams in Europe this season.
The milestone also makes Arsenal only the third club among Europe’s top five leagues—Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1—to reach the 100-goal mark during the current campaign. The other two teams to achieve the feat are FC Bayern Munich, who have scored 128 goals, and FC Barcelona with 110 goals.
Arsenal’s landmark moment came during their FA Cup clash against Mansfield Town, where goals from Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze secured a 2–1 victory for the Gunners.
The match saw Mikel Arteta’s side overcome strong resistance from the League One outfit to book their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The victory continues Arsenal’s impressive run this season across domestic and European competitions, with the team showing strong attacking form that has helped them reach the century goal mark ahead of any other club in England.
Following the FA Cup triumph, Arsenal will now shift attention to the UEFA Champions League, where they are scheduled to face Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Round of 16 during midweek action.
The encounter is expected to be a major test for the English side as they aim to maintain momentum in Europe.

With their attack firing on all cylinders and the team competing on multiple fronts, Arteta’s squad appears determined to maintain their push for silverware this season.
