Federal government delegates back in Dapchi
Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed and Interior Minister Abdulrahman Dambazzau are back in Dapchi, Yobe, to assess the crisis that followed the kidnap of 110 schoolgirls by Boko Haram on Monday.
officials and other stakeholders are to get an update on the search for the missing girls of the Government Science and Technical Girls College, Dapchi, Yobe.
Mohmmed disclosed this in a statement signed in Damaturu on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media, Segun Adeyemi.
The minister said the delegation would meet with state government officials and the principal of the school to know the update on the missing school girls.
It is the second time in four days that a federal government delegation would visit Yobe over the issue of the missing Dapchi girls.
The federal government is yet to officially state the number of kidnapped girls, but the parents of the victims have released a list of 105 missing girls.
There have been conflicting reports after incidents.
The state government initially said the military rescued 30 of the girls whose total number was initially said to be 46. All of this has been retracted.
