Adeyanju Deji reacts to the South West APC’s statement that SW must produce next president
It was recently reported that the south west APC leaders had a meeting yesterday and during the meeting, they made a decision that the south west region must produce the next president of the country, come 2023. This particular decision that was reached by these south west APC leaders caused several Nigerians to react differently.
Based on that note, a well known Nigerian human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji, decided to react. While reacting, he stated it clearly that he was disgusted reading the news. He went further and asked to know whether presidency was created for south west alone.
Speaking further, he made it known that South West has produced vice president for 8 good years and president for another 8 years and they want people not to talk about leaving the country.
On several occasions, Adeyanju Deji had advocated for Igbo presidency, making it known that the south east region is the right region that should produce the next president of the country in 2023. But nevertheless, let’s wait and see how things will turn out to be.
