Afrobeats star Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, has announced that his fourth studio album, “M$NEY,” will be released on May 1.

The singer revealed the date on Instagram via his handle @mrmoney, sharing a striking teaser video featuring a stone carver crafting what appears to be the album’s cover art.

The project marks a major milestone in Asake’s career, as it will be his first full-length release under his independent imprint.

According to the artist, “M$NEY” will feature 13 tracks, including previously released singles such as “Why Love,” “Badman Gangster” featuring Tiakola, and his latest collaboration “Worship” with DJ Snake.

The album is expected to highlight Asake’s signature blend of Fuji-influenced vocals, Amapiano rhythms, and contemporary Afrobeats, while also pushing into new sonic territory.

M$NEY follows a prolific run of releases from the singer, including Mr. Money With The Vibe (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).

One of his standout tracks, Amapiano, earned a nomination in the Best African Music Performance category at the Grammy Awards in 2024, further cementing his international recognition.
