The type of food you eat and the time you eat the food plays an important role in your health. This is why we need to be very mindful of the types of foods we eat and the time we eat the food.
Studies have found that there are foods that are best to be eaten at night, there are also some which are best to be eaten in the morning.
In this article, I am going to be talking about best foods to eat at night to promote better sleep at night.
1. White Rice
White rice is one of the best types of food to eat at night. This is because it is relatively high in calories and are recommended by experts as one of the best types of foods to eat at night.
The high level of calories which can be found in white rice plays an important role in promoting better health at old age because it causes a spike in our blood sugar which promotes better sleep at night.
2. Boiled Potatoes
Boiled potatoes are also one of the most important types of foods at night. This is because it contains B6 which boosts mood and melatonin which promotes better sleep at night. Studies suggest that people eat only boiled foods at night and avoid intake of fried foods.
3. Fatty fishes
Fatty fishes are one of the most important types of foods to eat at night. This is because they contain vitamins D and Omega-3 fatty acids which is important for the regulation of serotonin in the body. They are also rich in other important nutrients which plays an important role in promoting better health of the body.
4. Bananas
Bananas are very important types of foods you should eat at night. This is because it is rich in potassium and magnesium which helps in relaxing the muscles and had a positive effect on the quality of sleep in older adults with insomnia.
5. Almonds
Almonds can be easily gotten in the fruit market and one of the best foods for night. It helps in the relaxation of the nerves as well as claiming the body and relaxing the muscles.
