EFCC presents Aisha Achimugu in court amidst allegations
The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja with the businesswoman, Aisha Achimugu, as ordered by the court.
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today presented businesswoman Aisha Achimugu before the Federal High Court in Abuja, fulfilling an order issued by Justice Inyang Ekwo.
Achimugu, who faces unspecified allegations, was escorted into the courtroom at approximately 11:35 am by two female officers of the anti-graft agency.
Her appearance follows a directive from Justice Ekwo on Monday, instructing her to respond to the EFCC’s invitation by Tuesday noon.
The judge had further mandated the EFCC to bring businesswoman to court today to provide an update on the matter.

Reports indicate that Achimugu was apprehended by EFCC operatives upon her arrival in Nigeria from abroad at around 5:00 am and had been in their custody since then.
