Four policemen remanded over extra-judiciary killing of youth in Ajah
Four police officers have been remanded over the shooting of a young man, Gafaru Buraimoh, of Happy Land Estate, Ajah, in December 2022.
Giving an update on the shooting on Saturday, the Lagos State police command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, said “Four police officers involved in this incident were arraigned yesterday. They have been remanded in prison pending DPP advice.”

Buraimoh had been shot dead on Tuesday, December 6th 2022, in an incident involving men of Ajah police division.
The officer behind the shooting was an Inspector of Police.
Recall that a lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, was shot dead by ASP Drambi Vandi also of the Ajah division last Christmas Day.
