Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday hosted the launch of new education platform, “Africa for Africa School of Governance“, at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria.

The commencing activities of the School of Government in Africa for Public Service and Governance were presided by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who at the session, had question and answer segment with participants.

The delegates/participants had the opportunity to ask former President Olusegun Obasanjo important questions which produced answers to trigger actions that will foster sustainable Development Through Pan Africanism.

The Executive Director of the Africa for Africa, Pastor Henry Akasili, launched the “Africa for Africa School of Government 2.0” in a most remarkable memorable way in the landmine of human socialisation.

Delegates from 10 African countries which include Nigeria, Ghana, Republic of Benin, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and south Africa, participated in the historic event in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria for a riveting time.

According to the Founder, the Africa For Africa School Of Government is a special initiative designed to educate, engender interest in, and prime undergraduates for participation in governance; consciously raising a new generation of the political class and civil service work force for African nations.
The Founder and Visionary of the Africa for Africa Youth Initiative, The Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Dsc, DD, had several years asserted:
“It has been said that evil prevails when good men do nothing, it is also true that mundanity and mediocrity prevail where excellence is absent.

“Express your thoughts, act on the gains and provisions of democracy, the right of expression.
“Express yourself, express your thoughts, speak up, speak out and be heard.
“Your society needs you. Contribute your ideas.

“You say nobody will listen to you, they will sooner or later, just keep talking, just keep writing and constantly perfect your work. “Improve yourself, sooner or later they will listen to you.”
The Executive Director noted that several years after, thousands of youths have not only stood up, but have taken action using the tools provided on that eventful day.
The activities of the Africa for Africa School of Governance at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria, marked Day 1 of event take off for the mission of the group.
