FRSC warns officers against indolence, extortion in Kogi
The FRSC in Kogi has warned officers against indolence and extortion of motorists, threatening severe disciplinary action for any violations.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kogi State has issued a stern warning to its officers against indolence and extortion of motorists on the highways.
Sector Commander Samuel Oyedeji gave the warning during a workshop for heads of operations at the command’s headquarters in Lokoja.
He emphasized that any officer found wanting in their duties would face severe disciplinary action, including dismissal.

Oyedeji urged officers to prioritize the safety of travelers on the highways and to be proactive in responding to road accidents.
He stressed that the corps’ image should be protected and any actions that could tarnish it would not be tolerated.
