Grandson smashes grandma dead for Indian hemp in Ondo
A grandmother was murdered by her grandson at her home in the Labeta at Sabo in the Ondo West, Ondo.
Pelumi, One of the grandchildren of Mrs Florence Olaloye testified that his brother Vincent, a cokehead, killed her.
According to him, the 66 –year-old had been worried and complaining of the suspect’s smoking problem, especially India hemp.
Before her murder, she was cooking while she asked Pelumi to buy snails.
Vincent was home ironing his clothes then, ad he still came back to meet him in the house.
“She asked me to bring firewood but when I came back, I met grandma on the floor bleeding,” he said.
Vincent has since been arrested and detained, Ondo police command spokesman Funi Odunlami said.
