Gunmen struck at Igangan police station, Ibarapa LG, Oyo
Gunmen on Tuesday night struck at the Igangan Police Station in Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Oyo State. There was indication that gunmen might have killed a Divisional Crime Officer and a suspect, detained at the station in the attack.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Command, Adewale Osifeso, was said to have acknowledged the attack, disclosing that the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Adebowale Williams, and other operatives were at the police station for on the spot assessment.
