Hanks Anuku breaks silence after viral Abuja video sparks public concern
Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has responded to widespread concerns over his wellbeing following the circulation of a viral video showing him by the roadside in Abuja.

The video, reportedly recorded on Saturday in the Wuse 2 area of the Federal Capital Territory, showed the actor lying by the roadside, talking to himself while holding a disposable cup. The footage quickly spread across social media, prompting many Nigerians to express concern about his health and welfare.
Reacting to the viral clip, Anuku dismissed the concerns and urged the public to channel their attention toward more pressing national issues rather than speculating about his condition.
“You haven’t seen anything yet. Stop worrying about me and focus on your government. If you don’t have anything better to do, go and do something. I’m fine,” the actor said.
The actor’s remarks have generated mixed reactions online, with some supporters expressing relief that he personally addressed the incident, while others continue to call for greater support and care for veteran entertainers.
