“FC Barcelona and Andreas Christensen have reached an agreement for the extension of the Danish defender’s contract, keeping him at the club until 30 June 2028,” the club disclosed in a statement on Wednesday.
Christensen joined Barcelona from Chelsea in 2022 and played a key role in the club’s La Liga title-winning campaign in his debut season.
Despite struggling with injuries during his time at Camp Nou, the Denmark international has made 98 appearances for the Catalan club and has won three La Liga titles.
