Joe Igbokwe reacts after a man complains that Tinubu isn’t a president yet he uses a lot of convoys
On Sunday, it was reported that the All Progressive Congress Party APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu returned to Lagos State from the just concluded Governorship election in Ekiti State was next to none giving the kind of crowd that came to welcome him at the Muritala International Airport.
In the light of what seems to have happened, the special Adviser to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Water Resources took to his official Facebook page to react after a man complain that Tinubu isn’t a president yet he uses a lot of convoys.
In his Facebook post, the elder statesman uploaded a video of his boss’s return from a trip with a lot of official vehicles escorting him. However, this said man was heard in the background complaining bitterly that Bola Tinubu isn’t yet the President of the country and he is already using many escorts. The unidentified Nigerian also noted that it was because the presidential aspirant they were hindered from moving as claimed the whole airport road was blocked because of him.
Mr. Joe Igbokwe who seems very surprised at the man’s statement however made it known that the said fellow should be aware that those cars he saw do not belong to his principal. As he affirms that some of them belong to some Governors, Senators, Local Governments Chairmen, Party leaders, and others within the South West region who seems to come to welcome him from the airport.
Furthermore, he, however, stated that his Bola Tinubu is not yet the president of the country quite alright and even if he was he wouldn’t be having this kind of entourage. In conclusion, he noted that he was also present in one of that coaster buses as an Exco member as he affirms that the man who recorded this scene seems to lack the understanding of what was happening as he noted that the man may be one of those that don’t like Asiwaju.
