KETU KILLINGS: ‘Why deceased killer cop went to the hotel’
Late Sergeant Steven James, the killer Mobile policeman, who shot twin brothers and their friend to death before killing himself with same rifle, in front of Paulson Hotel, Ketu, Lagos, Sunday, was said to have gone on an illegal duty at the hotel to raise money for the just celebrated Christmas.
This is just as the Police has ordered for the prosecution of those who sold alcoholic drinks to the killer cop that fateful day.
National Daily reliably gathered that the late James attached to MOPOL 22 was making last minute efforts to raise money to celebrate the just concluded Christmas.
He was said to have confided in one of his colleagues that he intended to make what was described as quick money, this season.
In order to achieve his aim, he was said to have boycotted his official duty post at a branch of First Bank, where he was posted to in October, saying customers at the bank were not friendly to policemen.
