Man beats daughter to death
A 40-year-old man has beaten his 11-year-old daughter to death for disobeying his order.
The incident happened at Acilafiya village in Babura local government area of Jigawa.
Police Spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed it.
“The incident occurred on Friday at about 09;40hrs, when a 40-year-old man, Hannafi Yakubu beat his 11-year-old daughter Salima Hannafi to death.
“The deceased was taken to Babura General Hospital for examination, where she was confirmed dead by medical doctors.
”Her corpse was released for burial in accordance with Islamic teachings”.
Shiisu said the suspect was apprehended and the case has been transferred to CID for discreet investigation.
