Man. United bounce back, defeat Liverpool 2-1
Manchester United on Monday recovered from their poor performance in the current English Premier League season, recording first victory against Liverpool in their week three game at Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho scored the first goal, while Marcus Rashford scored the second goal in their 2-1 defeat of Liverpool on Monday night.
This is Man United first league victory against Liverpool since 2018.
Mohammed Salah scored the only goal of Liverpool in the game.
Man, United lost their first two games of the season. They moved on top of Liverpool in the league table after Monday’s victory.
