Two Federal polytechnic students crushed to death in Ondo accident
Two Federal Polytechnic Ile Oluji students killed in Ondo road accident. NANS mourns loss. Government calls for caution.
A tragic road accident on the Akure-Ondo highway has claimed the lives of two students from the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State.
Chukwu Athanasius and Oladokun Oyindamola were killed instantly when their motorcycle was struck by a Toyota car.
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC) Ondo State Axis, expressed deep sorrow over the untimely deaths.
In a statement signed by the Polytechnic association’s leadership, NANS condoled with the families, friends, and classmates of the victims.
The statement described the loss as devastating for the Polytechnic student community and a reminder of the fragility of life.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, Prince Oriade Wellington Adebawo, also commiserated with the families and condemned the reckless driving that led to the accident.
He urged drivers to avoid speeding and prioritize road safety.
