Oborevwori promises to complete legacy projects of Okowa
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, at the inspection of Sector A and Sector C of the Ughelli-Asaba road dualisation project, promised that his administration would continue funding ongoing legacy projects left behind by his predecessor. former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for prompt completion.
Governor Oborevwori, at a media interaction at the inspection site, enjoined the contractor to put in more efforts to ensure early completion of the project, which he said, was very dear to Deltans.
The Governor, declared that “the project domiciled in Isoko nation and the first inspection embarked upon after assumption of office… needs to be completed as soon as possible in line with his campaign promises.”
The contractor of the Sector C of the Ughelli-Asaba road dualisation project promised to deliver part of the project before the year runs out.
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works, taking the governor round the project, noted that efforts are being put it place to beat the deadline.
