Osun 2022: Adeleke commends Buhari for signing Electoral Act, preventing rigging of elections
The winner of the last Saturday governorship election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the electoral act into law, which according to the governor-elect, prevented rigging in the Osun State election.
Adeleke considered the signing of the electoral act as a major role of the President in the governorship election.
Adeleke had stated in a media interaction, “… I have to give President Buhari some credit because if he didn’t sign it, there would be room for rigging.”
Moreover, President Buhari declined to allow the use of the federal might by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the party leader, to manipulate the electoral process, which was won by Adeleke.
