Over 10 persons survive death in motor accident along Ijebu Ode-Ore expressway
over 10 persons survived death in an accident at Omotosho Step Down Power Plant on Ijebu-Ode-Ore Expressway, Odigbo Local Government area, Ondo State on Saturday.
The Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ore, Sikiru Alonge, disclosed that an Opel Space Wagon with registration number Ogun AKM 995 SS, conveying 10 passengers had an accident, not in collision with any vehicle, because of speeding.
The Unit Commander said that seven of the 10 passengers, including two male adults and five female adults, sustained varying degrees of injuries. He said that the victims were taken to a private facility, Opeyemi Hospital, Ore, while the vehicle was towed to the Divisional Police Station in Omotosho.
He narrated: “10 people escaped death as two males and five females sustained injuries in a lone accident involving an Opel Space Wagon car at Omotisho Step Down Power Plant on Ijebu-Ode-Ore Expressway.
“The accident occurred because of speeding, but no live was lost in the accident.”
