Tanker explosion burns 10 buildings at Olambe Matogun, Ogun State
Explosion from a tanker conveying 45,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) burnt about 10 buildings at Olambe Matogun Road, Ifo, Ogun State.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in a statement by the coordinator, Ibrahim Farinloye, indicated that the accident occurred at about 7.00am along Olambe Matogun Road, Ifo.
The statement read: “Though, no life was lost or any injuries sustained, about 10 buildings were consumed in the incident.
“The situation was mitigated with most of the content spilling into the canal close to the scene.
“This saved the community from a serious incident that could have affected more people.”
Farinloye said the fire has since been put out.
