Over 100 vehicles damaged, scores injured at Oyo PDP congress
A PDP factional congress in Oyo came under attack Saturday, leaving vehicles damaged and the exercise disrupted.
The faction was holding their congress at Jogor Centre before hoodlums struck around 1 pm, and let all hell loose for nearly half an hour.
A participant was slice with a machete while others sustained injuries in the stampede.
More than 100 vehicles, including a van belonging to MiTV, which were damaged, too.
The DSS and other security agencies had to move in to quell the commotion.
There were two factions of the PDP that held parallel congress in Ibadan o Saturday.
