Partners rob company with toy gun, knives
Edehikenna Daniel Stanley and Segun Tope were arrested by men of Ogun state police command while robbing Crown Park Company at the Ota industrial Estate on Sunday.
The policemen in Onipanu divisional headquarters got a distress call at about 3 am that robbers invaded the company, and held the security men there hostage.
According to Ogun police spokesman, CSP Bamidele Job quickly mobilized his men and moved to the scene.
On sighting the policemen, the hoodlums who have stolen two heavy industrial batteries broke into a run.
The police went after them, caught them and recovered two industrial batteries, a toy gun, and two knives.
The two suspects have been transferred to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department.
