Buhari, Tinubu meet at Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari hosted APC national leader BolaTinubu in Aso Rock on Sunday.

That was the first time in months both party leaders would be meeting in Nigeria.

After the meeting, Tinubu said he was at the presidential villa to thank the president for visiting him in London where he sought medical treatment.

“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had a knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader,” he said.

Buhari earlier visited Tinubu in London, after which a host of other party men and supporters flew out to wish Tinubu a quick recovery.
