Police arrest three suspected Kidnappers in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers who were terrorizing residents of the Ikorodu area.
The suspects were apprehended on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, following an attempted kidnapping incident.
According to the police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspects targeted a car dealer along Ebute-Igbogbo Road in Ikorodu. However, their plans were foiled, and they were taken into custody.
The arrested suspects, whose ages range from 23 to 33, are currently being held by the police.

Authorities are actively pursuing two other suspects who managed to escape during the operation.
An investigation into the matter is ongoing.
The arrest of these suspected kidnappers comes as a relief to residents of Ikorodu, who have been plagued by kidnapping activities in recent times.
The police command has assured the public of its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
