Ronaldo, Man Utd, Lukaku, Chelsea, light up EPL this weekend
Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United would be going into this weekend English Premier League with a burden of the shocking defeat by the Young Boys in the Champions League last weekend. Ronaldo would be leading Manchester United into the Premiership game on Sunday against West Ham United with the pressure to redeem his image and the image of the team. They would seek to put the disappointment behind them.
Ronaldo had hit the net in Man U game with Newcastle; and also scored in the Championship League match last weekend before the defeat.
Man U Manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, had urged the team to restore the high spirit that the return of Ronaldo brought in Manchester United.
Chelsea would be facing Tottenham Hotspur in a local derby in London. Fans are rooting for Romelu Lukaku to lift Chelsea into victory in their match against Tottenham. Lukaku will be competing with Harry Kane of Tottenham in striking roles. Chelsea will be away to Tottenham.
Chelsea has maitnaineed unbeaten record in the new season just like Manchester United. Both Chelsea and Man U share the same points on the league table and are also on top of the table.
The other big teams in the English Premier League, Liverpool will be taking on Crystal Palace, while Manchester City will engage Southampton on Saturday. Leicester will be away to Brighton on Sunday.
