Record shows that Egypt has the best infrastructure in the African continent.
Egypt provides free healthcare for citizens, has 100% electricity access, has minimum wage of $125 per month, etc.
Several other countries in the continent ares still struggling for infrastructure development in the 21st century, including Nigeria.

It is Africa’s largest producer of electricity
It is Africa’s biggest Foreign Direct Investment destination.
