Why Super Eagles star, Kelechi Iheanacho is trending after Man Utd hard-fought 1-0 win over Leicester
Super Eagles of Nigeria star Kelechi Iheanacho has been trending on Twitter since Manchester United football club defeated Leicester City football club 1-0 at King Power stadium, in the Matchday 5 of the English Premier League on Thursday night.
The former Manchester City football club star was dropped to the bench by coach Brendan Rodgers and he was introduced to the pitch towards the end of the game.
The Nigerian international has not been getting enough playing time since the beginning of the season, and he is yet to start a game for the club this season.
The 25 years old has lost his spot in Leicester City’s first eleven since Jamie Vardy returned from injury, and he has only played few minutes for the club this season.
Kelechi Iheanacho is yet to score a goal in the English Premier League this season, and he has just managed to provide an assist in the League (against Arsenal).
A first half goal from England national team star Jadon Sancho gave Manchester United football club a 1-0 hard-fought victory over Leicester City football club.
Kelechi Iheanacho replaced Belgium National team star Youri Tielemans in the 75th minute and he was able to perform excellently in the game.
Football lovers were not happy with Brendan Rodgers’ decision to bench Kelechi Iheanacho against Manchester United football club and they were unable to hide their disappointment in the former Liverpool football club head coach, and that’s why the Nigerian international has been trending.
